Looking for a nursing mentor: Jimena's career change at 55
A mentor in nursing could help Jimena with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a factory operator for 17 years, and I'm 55. After a health scare, I decided to move into nursing, and I have completed a part-time diploma.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in Buenos Aires, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Thank you so much.

best of luck. Hope the shop reopens soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
You're not alone, Jimena. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
Sending strength, Jimena. Looking forward to the next update. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Lagos.
sending strength, Jimena. Hope you make a strong comeback. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Bengaluru
