I have worked as a hospitality worker for 10 years, and I'm 53. After the factory closing, I decided to move into nursing, and I have completed an online certificate. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my capstone project, a realistic view of the job market in Dhaka, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. Thank you for reading my story.

Praying for you, Imran. Hope the shop reopens soon. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.

      • You're not alone, Imran. Small businesses are the heart of Gazipur. Hope you're open again soon. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Gazipur.

        • Hope it all works out, Imran. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings.

          • Wishing you the best, Imran. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Mumbai
