Looking for a flute on loan, Brooklyn
My son has a place in the school music program but we can't afford a flute. A loan for a term or a year would help.

I'm Kevin in Brooklyn. My son was chosen for the school music program and has been learning to play the flute. Lessons are free, but renting an instrument for the year costs more than we can find.
If you have a flute sitting in a cupboard that you would be willing to lend us for a term or a year, we'll keep it in its case, have it checked if needed, and give it back in good condition. We can collect it and show you a photo of progress now and then.
Music has changed how school feels for us, and I'd be so grateful to see it continue.
Many thanks, and I'm happy to answer any questions.

My neighbor has one too and says you can borrow it. I will ask her. Happy to chat first.

I can lend mine this weekend. Where would be easy to meet? Happy to chat first.
