Looking for a data analysis mentor: Randall's career change at 49
Seeking an experienced data analysis professional for guidance on the transition from stay-at-home parent.
🇺🇸 United States469 views
I have worked as a stay-at-home parent for 8 years, and I'm 49. After a health scare, I decided to move into data analysis, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in California, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Rooting for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Alcalá de Henares
Hope it all works out. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Marseille so I could bring a meal. Love from London
Stay strong, Randall. This could happen to any of us.
