I have worked as a retail manager for 9 years, and I'm 48. After my children starting school, I decided to move into data analysis, and I have completed a bootcamp. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in California, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. I hope life is good to you.

  • Small businesses are the heart of San Francisco. Hope you're open again soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of San Francisco.

    • Good luck. Looking forward to the next update. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless

      • so sorry you're going through this, Rafael. Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out.

        • wishing you the best. This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Dar es Salaam but we're thinking of you. All the best.
