I have worked as a retail manager for 14 years, and I'm 30. After the factory closing, I decided to move into cybersecurity, and I have completed a part-time diploma. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my interview answers, a realistic view of the job market in Cairo, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • Thinking of you and your family. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Mumbai.

    • Thinking of you and your family, Rasha. This could happen to any of us.

      • Good luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We're a small family in Tlaquepaque but we're thinking of you.
