Looking for a cybersecurity mentor: Noah's career change at 35
A mentor in cybersecurity could help Noah with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a security guard for 14 years, and I'm 35. After years of wanting more, I decided to move into cybersecurity, and I have completed a bootcamp.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my capstone project, a realistic view of the job market in California, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Keep going, Noah. Hope this works out for you. Put this on a community board in Hải Phòng this morning.
