Looking for a cybersecurity mentor: Mansi's career change at 35
Seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional for guidance on the transition from taxi driver.
🇮🇳 India290 views
I have worked as a taxi driver for 9 years, and I'm 35. After my children starting school, I decided to move into cybersecurity, and I have completed a bootcamp.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my interview answers, a realistic view of the job market in Uttar Pradesh, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thanks for sharing this, Mansi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. All the best.
Sending good thoughts, Mansi. Hope you make a strong comeback.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Love from Stockholm.
This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Ekurhuleni.
Wishing you peace, Mansi. Your post was clear and honest. After 16 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Agra!
Shared this with my family. After 6 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
Your post was clear and honest. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best!
