Looking for a cybersecurity mentor: Kurniawan's career change at 51
Kurniawan, a farmer, is retraining for cybersecurity and is looking for a mentor for monthly calls over six months.

I have worked as a farmer for 14 years, and I'm 51. After the factory closing, I decided to move into cybersecurity, and I have completed an online certificate.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in Central Java, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Thank you for reading my story.

So sorry you're going through this. Your post was clear and honest. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
