Looking for a cybersecurity mentor: Emilia's career change at 43
Emilia, a call-centre agent, is retraining for cybersecurity and is looking for a mentor for monthly calls over six months.

I have worked as a call-centre agent for 17 years, and I'm 43. After the factory closing, I decided to move into cybersecurity, and I have completed an online certificate.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in Texas, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 45 minutes a month
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills
- industry experience, patience, honest feedback
