Looking for a cybersecurity mentor: Atieno's career change at 50
Atieno, a security guard, is retraining for cybersecurity and is looking for a mentor for monthly calls over three months.

I have worked as a security guard for 12 years, and I'm 50. After the factory closing, I decided to move into cybersecurity, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in Nakuru, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
