Looking for a cloud engineering mentor: Rafael's career change at 40
Seeking an experienced cloud engineering professional for guidance on the transition from farmer.
Anywhere in the world1,011 views
I have worked as a farmer for 16 years, and I'm 40. After years of wanting more, I decided to move into cloud engineering, and I have completed an online certificate.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in Ontario, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
I hope life is good to you.

Hope it all works out. I hope things turn around soon. It's not much but it's yours. Blessings.
Looking forward to the next update. After 20 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Stay strong, Rafael. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Take care.
Stay strong, Rafael. Small businesses are the heart of Toronto. Hope you're open again soon.
Wishing you peace, Rafael. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
