Looking for a cloud engineering mentor: Maria's career change at 51
Seeking an experienced cloud engineering professional for guidance on the transition from factory operator.
Anywhere in the world126 views
I have worked as a factory operator for 12 years, and I'm 51. After my children starting school, I decided to move into cloud engineering, and I have completed a bootcamp.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in Northern Ireland, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Thank you so much.

Hope it all works out, Maria. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Derry.
Thanks for sharing this, Maria. I hope things turn around soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
