Looking for a cloud engineering mentor: Araceli's career change at 40
A mentor in cloud engineering could help Araceli with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a call-centre agent for 9 years, and I'm 40. After being laid off, I decided to move into cloud engineering, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in Madrid, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
I hope life is good to you.

Sending good thoughts. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Wollongong!
rooting for you, Araceli. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Blessings.
Sending strength, Araceli. Small businesses are the heart of Madrid. Hope you're open again soon. My husband and I read this together. All the best
You're not alone. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Madrid.
Thinking of you, Araceli. Hope you get there.
hope things get better soon, Araceli. Hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Stay strong. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Bellevue.
