Looking for a cello on loan, Sacramento
My son has a place in the school music program but we can't afford a cello. A loan for a term or a year would help.

I'm Mason in Sacramento. My son was chosen for the school music program and has been learning to play the cello. Lessons are free, but renting an instrument for the year costs more than we can find.
If you have a cello sitting in a cupboard that you would be willing to lend us for a term or a year, we'll keep it in its case, have it checked if needed, and give it back in good condition. We can collect it and show you a photo of progress now and then.
Music has changed how school feels for us, and I'd be so grateful to see it continue.
Thank you for reading. I'll look after whatever you can lend.

My neighbor has one too and says you can borrow it. I will ask her. Happy to chat first.

I can lend one for a few weeks. I live about 17 km away so you would need to collect it. Flexible on timing.
