Logan's thyroid cancer treatment fund
Logan is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Logan was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in December. The oncology team at Albany Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Logan is 56, worked as a hairdresser until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Albany Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $9,900 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,250
• Scans and lab work: $880
• Transport to Albany Cancer Centre: $1,050
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $450
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,270
