Lin can't leave home - help build a ramp
Help Lin regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States1,623 views
Lin has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Lin can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Lin's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thanks for being kind about this.

praying for you. I hope things turn around soon. God bless.
Sending good thoughts. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Addis Ababa
