Liliana has used a wheelchair since 2022, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Liliana can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair. The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two. The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work. Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Liliana's family will cook lunch for the team. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Thanks for sharing this. Your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.

    • Thinking of you and your family, Jameson. Wishing Liliana a smooth procedure and a full recovery. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
