Liberty Park needs a skate park - Bin's neighborhood project

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Park, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $3,450. It will serve about 444 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $3,450 goes: • Materials: $2,900 • Tools hire and delivery: $420 • Permits and inspections: $130 Thanks for reading all this.
