Let's build a youth football pitch together in Makassar
Volunteers in Makassar are raising $550 for a youth football pitch at the Pioneer community hall.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 319 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $460
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Safety equipment and signage: $20
• Tools hire and delivery: $50
