Let's build a youth football pitch together in Kharkiv

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Park, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $700. It will serve about 511 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $700 goes: • Materials: $520 • Permits and inspections: $90 • Safety equipment and signage: $90 Thanks for reading all this.
