Let's build a solar-powered water pump together in Kinondoni
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $350 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 158 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $180
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $85
