Let's build a skate park together in San Fernando
Volunteers in San Fernando are raising $600 for a skate park at the Union community hall.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 578 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $600 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Materials: $520
• Permits and inspections: $40
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
