Boulogne-Billancourt
For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,500. It will serve about 138 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $2,500 goes: • Permits and inspections: $200 • Tools hire and delivery: $410 • Materials: $1,890 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
