Let's build a sensory garden for children with autism together in Munich
A community-led a sensory garden for children with autism at Lotus Park that will serve 406 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Park, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $800.
It will serve about 406 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $800 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $230
• Tools hire and delivery: $195
• Safety equipment and signage: $375
With deep gratitude,
Marie

Sending good thoughts, Marie. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care
hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Greetings from Rome
