Let's build a sensory garden for children with autism together in Moscow
A community-led a sensory garden for children with autism at the Union health centre yard that will serve 119 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $380, and the remaining cost is $750.
It will serve about 119 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $750 goes:
• Materials: $490
• Permits and inspections: $75
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $145
