Let's build a sensory garden for children with autism together in Makati
A community-led a sensory garden for children with autism at the old Cedar bus depot that will serve 98 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Cedar bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 98 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $300 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $40
• Materials: $195
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Stay strong. More neighborhoods should do this. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
