Let's build a repair café workshop together in Thessaloniki
A community-led a repair café workshop at the Sycamore community hall that will serve 129 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,750.
It will serve about 129 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Materials: $1,300
• Permits and inspections: $125
• Safety equipment and signage: $185
• Tools hire and delivery: $140
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
