Let's build a repair café workshop together in Hồ Chí Minh City
A community-led a repair café workshop at the Sycamore community hall that will serve 409 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 409 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $600 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
• Safety equipment and signage: $75
• Materials: $465
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
