Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Saint-Denis
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at Unity Park that will serve 544 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Park, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $500, and the remaining cost is $2,750.
It will serve about 544 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Materials: $2,150
• Permits and inspections: $200
• Safety equipment and signage: $195
• Tools hire and delivery: $205
Thanks for being kind about this.
