Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Rennes
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at Maple Park that will serve 526 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,650.
It will serve about 526 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $140
• Materials: $1,350
• Permits and inspections: $160
