Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Baton Rouge
Volunteers in Baton Rouge are raising $2,250 for a rainwater harvesting system at the old Harmony bus depot.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Harmony bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,250.
It will serve about 197 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $320
• Materials: $1,750
• Tools hire and delivery: $180
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
