Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Arlington
Volunteers in Arlington are raising $2,550 for a rainwater harvesting system at the Unity health centre yard.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,550.
It will serve about 259 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,550 goes:
• Materials: $1,850
• Tools hire and delivery: $250
• Safety equipment and signage: $450
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
