Let's build a free library and reading room together in Hải Phòng

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore community hall, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $300. It will serve about 470 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $300 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $55 • Permits and inspections: $15 • Materials: $230 With deep gratitude, Tuyết
