Let's build a covered market stall space together in Venice
Volunteers in Venice are raising $650 for a covered market stall space at Lotus Primary School.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 197 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $650 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $120
• Permits and inspections: $200
• Safety equipment and signage: $330
