Let's build a covered market stall space together in Ibadan
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $55 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $55.
It will serve about 241 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $55 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $5
Thanks for being kind about this.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. permits and inspections comes first ($25) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
Best of luck. Great idea, hope you get there. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings.
