Let's build a covered market stall space together in Chattogram
A community-led a covered market stall space at the Pioneer vacant lot that will serve 527 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 527 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $230
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $5
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
