Let's build a covered market stall space together in Bang Khen
Volunteers in Bang Khen are raising $950 for a covered market stall space at the Harmony health centre yard.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $950.
It will serve about 519 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $950 goes:
• Materials: $660
• Permits and inspections: $110
• Safety equipment and signage: $80
• Tools hire and delivery: $100
Thanks for reading all this.
Updates from Decha

Quick update: $35 raised so far (4%). I met with the suppliers and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($10 in total) the plan for safety equipment and signage is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
