After a house fire in July, I'm now raising a toddler and a seven-year-old on my own. I work as a hairdresser, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a pharmacy technician in the evenings, which will triple my income by October, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Money goes toward rent, groceries, after-school care and the cost of my course. I'll give a monthly update with receipts.
Where the $3,350 goes:
• Rent top-up: $1,800
• Childcare and after-school care: $1,050
• Course fees and exam costs: $500
Every share and every dollar helps.

Hope it all works out, Lena. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon.
Sending good thoughts. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Thinking of Leipzig
Thanks for sharing this, Lena. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Joliet
Take care, Lena. Shared this with my family. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Sending love. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care
