Laptop needed for coursework: Tao, Philadelphia
Tao is studying software engineering on a phone; a used laptop would let Tao do assignments properly.

I'm Tao, a software engineering student in Philadelphia. My laptop broke 5 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Philadelphia.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

So sorry you're going through this. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Kinondoni.
Thinking of you and your family, Tao. Hope you get there. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Salé
Sending strength, Tao. This could happen to any of us. Please keep us posted.
