Laptop needed for coursework: Ika, Surabaya
Ika is studying software engineering on a phone; a used laptop would let Ika do assignments properly.

I'm Ika, a software engineering student in Surabaya. My laptop broke 3 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Surabaya.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Glad we found this place.

Thanks for sharing this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Hang in there, Ika. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care
