Sébastien was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in April. The surgeon at Marseille Regional Medical Center recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and He is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,750, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $5,800 short.
my son has been in and out of Marseille Regional Medical Center since April. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Sébastien struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Sébastien won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
