Landslide in São Paulo: help the Northside district rebuild
Neighbors in the Northside district are rebuilding after the landslide; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The landslide hit the Northside district on 30 April. My home was one of 52 damaged, and 9 families are still in temporary shelter at a borrowed warehouse.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,150
• Clean water and purification supplies: $270
• Food parcels for displaced families: $185
• Tools and labor for repairs: $345
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Hang in there, Josiane. This could happen to any of us. All the best
So sorry you're going through this, Josiane. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Aurangabad.
