Landon needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Fresno
Landon drives for a living in Fresno, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 4 weeks.
🇺🇸 Fresno, California, United States1,759 views
I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 4 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,650. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $970
• Labor charges: $340
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $120
• Towing and inspection: $220
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hang in there, Landon. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
