A final eviction notice arrived last week. Kwasi needs $550 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Accra.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 7 weeks, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $550.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $550 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $130
• Rent arrears (2 months): $370
• Late fees and court costs: $50

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. first month of rent as a buffer comes first ($130) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. I'll keep the page updated.
