Kurniawan needs a gas stove and two refrigerators to reopen a street-food cart
A street-food cart in Medan needs help replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators after floodwater.

For fifteen years I have run a street-food cart in Medan. In May, floodwater took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $200 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $120
• Shop repairs and licensing: $40
• Initial stock: ingredients: $40
With deep gratitude,
Kurniawan

is there anything that isn't money that would help Kurniawan?
Thank you. If you're in Medan I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. It helps to be asked.
You're not alone, Kurniawan. Shared it with a few friends. After 16 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
Sending love, Kurniawan. Hope you get there.
