The water account is 2 months behind. Bakari received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless $100 is paid. He had never been late before losing my job in August. Bakari called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which isn't available. The household includes an elderly mother, and going through winter without water isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by. Bakari is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
