Keep the heating on at Valentina's home in São Paulo
A disconnection notice for heating arrived and Valentina needs $350 before November.

The heating account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $350. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $40 first, which I don't have.
I live with two young children, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Valentina's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Valentina
Sure. The biggest one is electricity arrears, $180. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
