The heating account is 3 months behind. Mahin received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $100 is paid. He had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Mahin called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Mahin is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
