Keep the gas on at Brooks's home in Wellington
Brooks is behind on gas bills after an unexpected car repair and needs $550 to avoid a shut-off.

The gas account is 3 months behind. Brooks received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on March unless $550 is paid. He had never been late before an unexpected car repair.
Brooks called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $150 first, which isn't available.
The household includes three children under ten, and going through winter without gas isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
Brooks is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
